Woman Stole Of Air Purifier, Clothing From Target, Washington Township Police Say

A Hackettstown woman is accused of stealing more than $500 in merchandise from Washington Township's Route 46 Target store, authorities said.

Kristine Patton, 48, apparently walked out of the store with several article of clothing and a Dyson air purifier -- without paying, Washington Township Police Chief Jeffrey Almer said.

Patton was issued a criminal complaint charging her with shoplifting more than $500 in merchandise, Almer said. A hearing was scheduled in Morris County Superior Court, the chief said.
